||"Floribunda" & "Posy"
|A highly embellished bridal corset in embroidered silk dupion, elaborately decorated with flowers and beadwork.
|The wedding corset and matching bridesmaid's dress are constructed in a pale ivory silk dupion, embroidered in silver and blue and beaded with lilac stems, swarovski crystals and pearls. The flower decorations at neck and waistline are in shades of blue, lilac and pink. The boned corset bodice is laced at the back and at the shoulders for flexibility of fit. The bride's skirt of layers of ivory and blue tulle, worn over a multi-layered petticoat, are edged in lace. This is echoed in "Posy", the bridesmaid's dress.
A close reproduction of "Floribunda"
as shown (colour and fabric variations are possible) £2500; of "Posy" (age 3-4) £240.
