One-off Designs (Ready-to-wear)

(See thumbnails below.)

For most Rossetti made-to-measure gowns, fabrics and trimmings are ordered from several specialist silk and lace manufacturers.  These are typically chosen by you at the consultation stage from my stock or swatch books.  On rare occasions colours and fabric types are discontinued and an alternative has to be found.

When I see very special fabrics and trimmings I cannot resist purchasing them even if they are ends-of-lines, remnants or totally unique one-off pieces such as vintage lace and antique textiles.  I have combined these in gowns which can only be sold directly as one-of-a-kind unique garments.  I have frequently chosen styles which are laced at the back, such as the cleavage flattering 18th century corset to offer greater flexibility in fit.  These exclusive gowns are in specific sizes; measurements are shown with each design. These gowns are made to the same standards as the couture gowns shown on this site. They have been designed for those searching for an alternative wedding dress or a high quality costume or ballgown.  Please contact if you would like further information.

If you are very tempted by a particular design, but nothing held in stock is of a suitable size, these gowns can be treated as made-to-measure orders but it must be accepted that identical fabrics and trims cannot be guaranteed. Some very special gowns are held "in house" at the Rossetti studio and are not shown on the web site. This is your opportunity to find an extremely individual and unique design, often incorporating antique embroideries and textiles and unrepeatable fabrics. Due to the inevitable nature of plagerism on the internet I have found it preferable not to display every design available on the web-site!
